About me
My name is Krystal, your new Garden City-Dearborn Publisher! Although I grew up in Livonia, I have been a Garden City resident for the past four years and am so excited to share all of the exciting things happening around town with you. A little about myself: I moved to Garden City in 2019 with my partner (a Dearborn Heights native!), my son, and our two goofball pit bulls. Ever since, I've been dedicating my time to become a true part of the community. In my free time I enjoy writing, gardening, reading, and of course getting outside with my family. I'm a writer and marketer by trade and am incredibly honored to use my talents to help fill in the question marks of your free time. As a mother of a teenage boy, I know all too well that being a parent can be a bit overwhelming at times, especially when asked: what are we doing today?! Although it doesn't always seem like much on the outside, this city has SO MUCH to offer and I'm grateful to be taking over to share everything with you so you will always have an answer to that question.
